Should I have my carpets steamed cleaned?
Steam cleaning or hot water extraction is a good process; however, the large amounts of water used in a steam cleaning process will weaken the carpet and more often than not causes dirt and stains to “re-wick. This is the term used when soil and stains resurface. In addition, a carpet that has been steamed cleaned will take 24-48 hours to dry.
Heaven’s Best does offer this type of cleaning however we highly recommend our LMCCA approved low moisture cleaning process. Our process will not only have your carpets Dry in One Hour, but more importantly your carpet will be clean! For additional information on our process click here.

Why do I have these black lines along my baseboards and under my doorways?
These dark black lines can be seen especially on light colored carpet. This soiling is called filtration lines. It comes from air passing through your ventilation system and into the carpet. As this air is attempting to get through the cracks between the carpet and the baseboard or under a closed door, this microscopic soiling is deposited there and occurs over period of time. Filtration lines are not easily noticeable until a build up has occurred.
Because filtration soil particles are so fine that they penetrate deep into the carpet pile, sometimes into the backing of the carpet this type of soiling is difficult to remove. With our filtration line cleaner, time and effort, reasonable results can sometimes be achieved. To help prevent filtration soiling, be sure to change out or clean your ventilation system filter often, vacuum and wipe the edges of the carpeting on a regular basis.
